Renewal and Reward Medical Center (RRC) was established in 2017 by Dr. Haifa Mohammed Alqahtani, MD, FRCP. Dr. Haifa’s vision for the Center is to be the most recognized regional Center in providing Mental Health care services for Clients and practitioners. Through hard work and dedication, the Center has gained an unparalleled reputation among clients, medical staff, therapists, and Academic institutions. This reputation is a result of a continuous focus on quality improvement and unlimited belief in client’s rights to have access to high-quality care. RRC has plans to expand both locally and at a regional level as our client base continues to grow. Our expansion is focused on maintaining high-quality standards of care and providing different care options including telemedicine and assisted therapy services.

About Dr. Haifa Alqahtani
Dr. Haifa Alqahtani is an adult psychiatry consultant, certified trainer, researcher, licensed author, and specialist in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). In 1993, she received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from King Saud University College of Medicine and enrolled in the Arab Board program for internal medicine training. After several years, she applied for the scholarship program offered by Saudi Aramco and was selected to study psychiatry at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. In 2005, Dr. Haifa became the first Saudi woman to specialize in psychiatry through Aramco's physician development program. She became the first Saudi psychiatrist certified by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, an international recognized body for CBT practitioners, and developed a CBT training program. In 2017, Dr. Haifa decided to develop her own clinic and founded the Renewal & Reward Center in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Haifa also completed the Advanced Cognitive Therapy Supervision Program at the University of Oxford to improve her skills in executive supervision and training. She also accepted an offer to serve as the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (AGU) in Bahrain. Dr. Haifa continued to achieve her ambitious goals and contributed to the development of the Department of Psychiatry to become a leading, research-oriented, and impactful department in the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences at AGU. With a great passion to eliminate the negative stigma around the profession of psychiatry, Dr. Haifa was able to attract the interest of students to specialize in psychiatry in greater numbers than ever before. Dr. Haifa developed and managed the Leadership and Professionalism Program that was created for AGU students to excel among their peers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. As a result of her hard work, Dr. Haifa became certified by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy to be the first Saudi psychiatrist to be a certified CBT training consultant in the Middle East.

Our team's qualifications include degrees from prestigious educational institutions locally and internationally. In addition, our team has a wealth of practical experience over many years in various mental health facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad.
