Objectives:
• Increase awareness and understanding of ADHD.
(Parents will be educated on the nature of the disorder and its psychological and biological causes.).
• Provide simplified psychoeducation on the key symptoms and signs of ADHD.
• Develop a deeper understanding of the child’s needs and offer psychological support.
• Help parents build effective communication skills with their children.
• Enhance behavior management strategies for children with ADHD.
• Teach essential skills like organization, time management, and creating structured routines.
• Support acceptance of the child and recognize their strengths.
• Promote parents’ emotional and mental well-being.
• Reduce parental stress related to daily challenges with the child
.
